Help Pimlico Musical Foundation raise £18,500 this Christmas!
Tackling social inequality takes the efforts of a whole community. Pimlico Musical Foundation aims to harness the power of music to offer life-changing opportunities to children in some of the most difficult situations and in London's most complex borough.
We work with over 1,000 children per week across 8 local schools in Pimlico and working with some of the most hard to reach children. We run a weekly Children's Choir and offer a Foundation Scholars programme for the most in-depth musical training. And it's all for free. Under PMF, our children have gone on to sing at the Royal Opera House, Royal Albert Hall and will be singing in a professional production of La Boheme at Opera Holland Park. But nearly 50% of these children are on Free School Meals and 70.6% have a social disadvantage marker. It's incredible to see the what the power of music can have on people's lives.
Can you help us raise £18,500 to keep our programmes free to access?
For one week only, any donation you give will be DOUBLED between 29th November and 6th December through the Big Give Christmas Challenge. This is thanks to the generous match funding from the Childhood Trust. All the money raised will go straight to our free-to-access Children's Choir.
For example, a £100 donation would be doubled plus GiftAid, making your donation worth £250. Or a £1,000 donation would become £2,250!
This is an amazing opportunity for our charity to make the most of your generous support. Will you help us reach our target of £18,500? To make a donation, click here.
